This was something that took place at a fast food place at the end of Haight street by the park...the cows eventually die and lay sprawled across the pavement. I cant remember who planned it but assume it was against the meat industry....

In 1985 I published the first issue of my artzine Box of Water which ran for 4 issues and expired naturally in 1988. In this photo the pages for the first issue are in piles waiting to be collated together and then stapled.

Can't remember the particular occasion for this South Africa/Azania Will Be Free demonstration but things were beginning to heat up for the apartheid regime and the divestment campaign was building. Golden gate park, sf.
