Album #8, San Francisco 1984

On the bus back to the Haight Ashbury from work downtown.

My room in the apartment on Castro street.

This must have been at one of the many temporary jobs I had in the city.

Shortly after three on the morning of December 12, 1975, a person or persons unknown entered the Gartland apartments at 495 Valencia Street near 16th, mounted five flights of stairs and poured gasoline across the landing. Trailing a stream of deadly petrochemicals, they retreated down again and, at the bottom of the steps, a match was struck. The arsonist sauntered out the front door.[http://foundsf.org/index.php?title=The_GARTLAND_FIRE!]
